Giving Back to the Fur Friends

Fur-Angel Foundation was one rescue I always loved giving my time to, even before I started my business. I owe so much to them for helping me build my business, as they allowed me to take a few photos of their adoptable dogs before I even officially launched. Their trust and support gave me the confidence to pursue my passion and turn it into something greater.

It is a privilege of photographing the beautiful souls rescued by Fur-Angel Foundation. It has been more than just a creative endeavor—it has been a way to give back, to help these animals find their forever homes through the power of an image. A single photograph can capture a personality, a spirit, and a longing for love, making all the difference in a potential adopter's decision.

Each rescue I've photographed has a story, a past filled with unknowns, and a future waiting to be written. Some were scared, uncertain, and hesitant, while others arrive ready to embrace their second chance. Through my lens, I've witnessed transformations—timid eyes softening with trust, tails beginning to wag, and the moment a rescue realizes they are finally safe.

Beyond the camera, my connection to Fur-Angel Foundation runs even deeper. I have not only documented their journey but also personally experienced the joys and challenges of fostering—just once. That one time, however, led to a foster fail with the full approval of my sweet and sassy boy, Bruno. With his signature charm and undeniable presence, he had a way of letting me know when this foster was meant to be part of our family. And that was exactly what happened.

Looking back at all the moments captured, I am reminded of why I continue to do this work. Every click of the shutter is a step toward a happy ending for these deserving animals. Fur-Angel Foundation has given so many pets a second chance, and I am honored to have played a small role in telling their stories through photography.

To those considering adoption or fostering—know that you are changing a life. And sometimes, if you’re lucky, one of those lives will change yours right back.
