“I noticed most of your photos are of pets, do you photograph humans too?”
Yes! Though I enjoy taking photos of our beloved fur and feathery friends, I also enjoy taking photos of people and their loved ones too!
“What about little humans, could you photograph them too?”
Absolutely! Kids are such a joy to work with and I would be honored to take photos of them. I know sometimes they can be a handful, but during our session, I will be able to make it super fun for them and enjoy the experience.
“I really want professional photos of my pet but they are not well trained and are nervous/stressed/overly excited around other dogs, places, or certain people. What can I do?”
Not to worry, as a pet parent and having experiences in dog behavior, I will be able to work with you on finding the perfect place for your pet to take photos. Whether it may be in a location where there aren’t other pets and their owners roaming around, time of day, or even in the comfort of your own home, it is in my best interest to keep your pet comfortable and relaxed during their photo session. I’ll have toys, treats, and noise makers on hand. Also having the patience and chatting with you before hand on what your pet loves definitely helps! After all, it is their day to get all the love and attention they truly deserve!
“My pet does not do well off leash outdoors, will you be able to take good photos with it on?”
Yes! Due to safety precautions, I usually prefer them on leash during the sessions. After your photo session, I will be able to go through the photos that you selected as your digital copies and remove their leashes as if they were not there!
“Do you have a Studio for these photo sessions?”
As of right now, I do not have a studio for photo sessions. Most of my work has been on location around different areas on `Oahu.
“Since you do photo sessions on location, what happens if the weather is not cooperating?”
A few days prior to your scheduled session, I will be looking at the weather (like a hawk). In the event the weather isn’t as promising as we hoped it would be, I will reach out to you to see if you would want to change the location where the weather won’t be as bad or reschedule at a later date. As your photographer, I want ensure that your photos will come out fantastic.
“I’m not on the island of `Oahu, could you travel to another location for a photo session?”
Most definitely! I do love taking photos in other locations outside of `Oahu. Please reach out to me as soon as possible so we can start planning a fun session with you, your family, and/or your pets! Additional travel fee may apply.
